Using an angle mirror, measuring tape and marking rods, the “ClimatePartner Agriculture” trial technicians added two additional variants to the wheat trial. This will provide us with even more data for determining how agriculture can be managed in a more climate-friendly way. The key is to have a clear snapshot of the situation going in. Here we used a FarmLab spade from Stenon to determine the amount of nitrogen (Nmin), phosphorus, potassium and magnesium available to the crop as well as soil moisture, pH and humus content.
